oh no, every member of the project can make and upload a release tarball. Just
use the "dist-upload" make target and set $USER to your GForge user name.

I support this idea as well. I did not take a look at MUD myself but having
consistent builds would be really good to have. Another useful thing you can do
then is to have an experimental application feed to provide nightly builds from
SVN and applications in an early stage of development.

Neal prepared releases in the meantime, all we need to do is a little bit of
testing. Unluckily I need to downgrade to an older maemo SDK before creating
packages for the 770.

Another important task would be to test the latest bits in SVN in other
environments than maemo. I would be happy to get some feedback about the current
(r9000) based application (gpe-calendar) and libraries (libeventdb, libgpevtype,
libgpepimc).
