When importing a vcard file containing hundreds of entries, the operation can
take a long time (several minutes). During this time, the display freezes and
there is no visual feedback to tell the user that the operation is proceeding
OK. Some sort of continuously-updated visual feedback should be provided (maybe
a status bar, maybe the name of the contact currently being processed?).
