Summary: Many locales are not recognized by gpe-login
           Product: gpe-login
           Version: 0.87
          Platform: Zaurus Collie
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P4
         Component: default
        AssignedTo: gpe-bugs at linuxtogo.org
        ReportedBy: gomidame at gmail.com
   Estimated Hours: 0.0

Hi,
The gpe-login of version 0.87 does not recognize many "xx_YY" type locales.
Only "xx_XX" type locales that have the same language and country codes such as
"de_DE" and "fr_FR" can be shown on the login screen.
"en_GB", "ko_KR.eucKR", and so on can not be shown in login screen.

All of the "ja_JP", "ja_JP.UTF-8" and "ja_JP.eucJP" are valid in glibc
environment, and they use the same directory of "/usr/share/locale/ja".

So, I think the code in the locale_install_check function in gpe-login.c,
        if ((!strncasecmp(locale, (char*)(lp+1), lm))
should be removed.
