Do you mean correcting the behaviour of gpe_error_box, or something different?

libeventdb never displays a dialog box; it has a proper error reporting
mechanism allowing the library user to take the appropriate action.

I mean leave it open to fix gpesyncd with a real fix (reporting the error)
instead of the NULL's I added quickly to just get it to compile after the API
change.
Neal fixed the library and the product for this bug is now set to gpesyncd.
However, I am still travelling and won't be able to get to this until next week
at the earliest.
