           Summary: gpesumary should trigger alarms
           Product: gpe-calendar
           Version: 0.91
          Platform: Nokia N810
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P4
         Component: default
        AssignedTo: gpe-bugs at linuxtogo.org
        ReportedBy: andrew.olmsted at gmail.com
   Estimated Hours: 0.0

gpesummary, a home plugin for maemo (which I did not see in the product list
for bug reporting, so a presume it is maemo specific), should handle triggering
alarms so gpe-calendar does not need to be open all the time.

I have created a patch that uses the EventDB "alarm-fired" signal to send a
simple "top" message to gpe-calendar over DBUS. This will open gpe-calendar if
it is not running (which results in an alarm notification on startup) or will
bring the application to focus if gpe-calendar is running.
