Summary: Event Recurrence dialog not disabled properly for
"single occurrence" event
Product: gpe-calendar
Version: 0.91
Platform: Nokia N800
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P4
Component: default
AssignedTo: gpe-bugs at linuxtogo.org
ReportedBy: lars.p.fink at gmail.com
Estimated Hours: 0.0
When creating or editing a "single occurrence" event parts of the Recurrence
dialog should be disabled, ie "number of occurrences", "end on" etc.
This happens only when event is changed from "single occurrence" to some
recurring event and then back again.

I run 2.8+maemo+svn20080625-1 from Graham's daily repository.
Po-file header is shown in Event Reccurrence dialog after changing an event to
"single occurrence". Application crashes when trying to save event. This
happens for non-US locales, I have tested in Swedish and German locales.
If started from terminal I get the messages below.
The first one directly on startup (probably unrelated). The second when
switching to Reccurrence dialog. The third when trying to save the event:
~ $ gpe-calendar
gpe-calendar[1258]: GLIB WARNING ** Gtk - gtk_widget_size_allocate(): attempt
to allocate widget with width -24 and height 0

Checked in: revision 9443. Should appear in builds dated 20080626 or later.
Thanks again for your patches. By the way, instead of creating a tar file with
three separate files you can also create a single patch file with all the
changes, which is often easier both for you and for the receiver of the patch.
Assuming you are using SVN, you would need to:
svn add po/sv.po
svn diff >patch-file
In this case, it is worth using 'svn status' to make sure the files you
expected will be included in the patch.

The existing documentation for libeventdb on
http://gpe.linuxtogo.org/documentation/ is completely wrong: it documents an
old library that is no longer available.
The current libeventdb code contains no gtk-doc comments to allow documentation
to be created!
The only documentation today is to look at the code of the library and its
callers.
