Fixed for gpe-contacts.

Should still be checked for gpe-calendar.

Summary: Contacts DB API should include error arguments
           Product: libcontactsdb
           Version: 0.5
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: minor
          Priority: P4
         Component: default
        AssignedTo: gpe-bugs at linuxtogo.org
        ReportedBy: g+gpe at cobb.uk.net

The contacts DB routines should take GError arguments to allow passing erros
back to callers. At the moment, routines attempt to use things like
gpe_error_box directly, which may not be what the caller wants.

Of course, this is an API change.

Errors still cause the import to abort, but at least the error messages are now
displayed allowing the user to fix the problem and try again. This, combined
with improved handling of non-UTF data and more flexibility in accepting
technically non-compliant data, means the problem is much less severe.

So I am reducing the priority of this.

Summary: Find field: keyboard does not always pop up
           Product: gpe-contacts
           Version: 0.47
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW

The Find field in gpe-contacts on an N770 or N800 is unreliable. It works
fine, except that sometimes clicking in the field does not bring up the
on-screen keyboard.

This is particularly annoying when it means you can't delete the contents of
the field in order to see the whole list again.

To reproduce: click in find, enter some letters then click on (say) new contact
or edit contact and dismiss the dialog box. The on-screen keyboard has gone
and won't come back again. In some cases, hitting the back/escape key deletes
the text but the keyboard still won't come back.

This makes the Find feature useless on those devices.
