I'm using the GPE suite from http://www.cobb.uk.net/apt/ bora user repository, 
version 2.8+maemo-1. I'm running ITOS 2007 version 4.2007.26-8. The things I'm 
seeing may be symptons of bug #129.  For some time I have been experiencing
alarms going off for past events despite having been aknowledged. Also the
calendar will crash silently? and upon restart crash again. Upon a second
restart the past or due alarms will go off. I have also noticed; at times
severely; decreased battery life. Up to now I have come in after the fact,
yesterday I was able to see what is happening as it happened and hopefully
gather enough infomation. I have load applet installed and noticed the
processor icon maxed. Issueing top in xterm told me that gpe calender was using
between 70-95% of processor power. Calender was not being used at the time, but
it was running. Calender only displayed the window? tab and a white screen. No
response from the calender menu. Clicking x in the upper right yielded a "this
application is not responding" dialog. This was cancelled several times to
allow calender to recover over maybe ten minutes. It did not and calender was
force quit. Processor load immediately dropped to "normal" levels. Upon
calender restart several hours later; sorry I was in class at the time; I saw
only the same window? tab and a white screen with unresponsive menues. Calender
was force quit, restarted and crashed, restarted again and past aknowledged
event alarm went off. Alarm was aknowledged again and calender ran normally. I
should note that an alarm might go off as scheduled while the device is
unattended but the alarm screen will not be up upon my return. A reminder will
then go off after a time. This will then be dealt with although it would be
better for me if the alarm screen stayed up. Screenshots of top and uname -a
