That's a good idea, but we need to fix matchbox-desktop first. It needs to
detect the panel applications from the categories information.

It would be a good idea to get rid of the old matchbox-desktop and
matchbox-panel. We should consider to replace these with matchbox-panel2 and
matchbox-desktop2.

These look pretty good do me, but like for the type field we need to fix the
applications that read these files first.

Yes, the categories PIM and GPE are used by matchbox-desktop (specified in its
vfolder files). I'm not sure what matchbox-panel uses to identify actions and
panel apps, but that might be easy to try. I assume it needs bot the
non-standard type and the matching category to identify a panel applet.

I would vote for replacing it with System;Settings;. That should be pretty
clear. If matchbox-desktop uses this for somethign else it needs to be fixed or
replaced.
