debian+fso+gta02: newer kernels?

that would be the one from fso, 2008-07.30, wouldn't it?
at least that's the one install.sh instlled here.

if i fetch a kernel from buildhost/downlod.openmoko pressing pwr has no  
effect anymore.
i don't know what fso does to the kernel openmoko does not -- but there  
seem to be a few fixes applied to newer kernels, the juliy kernel from fso  
obviously does not have.
it would really be nice if someone could point out where to get a newer  
kernel that works with debian+fso.
