Uhm.... Google bought Android Inc. in 2005 who already have been working 2
years on Android with a small number of highly qualified engineers. Let's guess
it was just 5 guys -- that makes it 10 manyears until 2005. Until 2008 Google
worked 3 years on it with ... guessing again .. 50 engineers. That makes an
additional 150 manyears.
I would consider 160 man years as everything but a "comparibly short time".
